Accepted Credit Cards - What are my payment options?
Wendels-bakery.com accepts payment through the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and JCB.
We do not accept checks orders.
Credit Card Declines - What do I do if the cart is not accepting my billing information?
If your credit card is not accepted and you are bounced to the Billing Information screen of the shopping cart,
you should see a message telling you what information may be missing or is incorrect or if the card has been declined.
Generally these errors are related to:
- One or more fields were left blank in the Billing Information screen
- One or more fields contained invalid data in the Billing Information screen
- The information provided may not match what your bank has on record
- The bank has declined the card for an undisclosed reason.
You may want to double check all fields to ensure the data is complete and accurate.
The billing address must match what your card issuer has on file (where you receive your billing statements).
If you feel you have entered all your card information correctly, you may want contact the issuer of the card to report the problem you experienced.
If a card has been declined, you may want to try a different credit card or chose another payment term.
Multiple Charges - Why is my online statement showing more than one charge?
The charge that will ultimately be applied to your credit card should match the total on your Invoice Confirmation email from Wendels-bakery.com.
At the time you place your order; we do authorize your credit card and verify available funds.
If you see what looks like more than one pending charge on your credit card record within the first 48 hours after your order, it is almost certainly just more than one approval, or authorization for the purchase.
This occurs when your credit card company confirms more than once that you have enough credit for your Wendels-bakery.com transaction.
Ultimately there will be only one actual charge (finalized with your credit card company as a settlement when the order is shipped), and any extra authorizations for the funds will drop from your account. You can confirm this with your credit card company.
If your credit card company does indeed confirm more than one complete and finished charge ("settlements" in credit card company lingo), or if you have any other question about billing discrepancies, please visit our Contact Us area and submit your issue.
