How to Keep our Bread Fresh.

BUY IT DAILY FRESH !!! if this is not possible we have some tips for you…

Refrigerator

Please don't store your bread in the refrigerator. It will stale, dry out and loses flavor faster.

Plastic Bag

The storage in a plastic bag is only recommended for a short time, same day or one day. It will prevent the bread from getting dry but the hazard to get moldy is high.

The Plastic bag, specially a freezer bag is perfect for freezing the bread.

Freezer

Bread is well suited for freezing. The best is you store it in an air tight Freezer bag in small portions. It can be stored for 4 weeks depends on the freezer.

To defrost it, just take out the portion you like and let it defrost at room temperature.

For sliced bread, if you like it crispy you can put it in the toaster for a while, we don't recommend the oven for sliced bread it will dry out very easy.

For whole bread loafs, if you like them crispy after the defrosting you can bake it in a preheated oven at 200ºC for about 5 minutes.

Consumption on the same day ( white-, rye- and cereal bread )

You can store it in the paper bag, if you like it crispy, bake it in the preheated oven at 200ºC for about 5 minutes, slice and enjoy.

Consumption the next day ( white-, rye- and cereal bread )

Store it in a tight plastic bag. Before consumption bake it in the preheated oven at 200ºC for about 5 minutes, slice and enjoy.

Consumption within 3-4 days ( rye- and cereal bread )

Please freeze white bread when storing more than one day.
